Stuart Rosenberg, founder and principal of Stuart G. Rosenberg Architects, PC, has more than thirty years of experience in the architecture field. Since founding the firm in 1986, Stuart has built it into one of the region’s most respected firms, and is active in all aspects of it, including design, operations, marketing, and project management.

As the Principal-in-Charge, Stuart’s role is to establish the creative direction for the team and maintain a focus on the client’s goals and objectives. His extensive knowledge of architectural history, painting, and drawing, as well as the skills he developed while participating in carpentry apprenticeships, allow him to create unique structures completely suited to his clients’ needs.

Stuart also uses his thorough understanding of the building and zoning processes to navigate the complex design, planning, and approval procedures in an efficient and cost effective manner. His interest in and knowledge of architectural history often attracts clients looking for the adaptive reuse of historic buildings, and the firm has received numerous awards for historic restoration projects over the years. His most recent projects in this arena include Philadelphia’s Le Meridian Hotel and Parc Rittenhouse Condominium.

Stuart is an active participant in the professional architecture community, and he has been involved in many activities, including planning commission appointments, guest critic positions at several universities, and board memberships. Stuart earned his Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the Pennsylvania State University, and his Master of Architecture from the Yale School of Architecture.

  • Annabelle Salle

Before her move to Philadelphia, Annabelle worked as a licensed architect at a number of dynamic design-oriented studios in her native Paris, France. Her work there included international projects such as museums, healthcare facilities, airports, offices, and residential. 

In Philadelphia Annabelle has worked both independently and with other established firms. With 10+ years of experience, she is impassioned by the process of architecture.

Annabelle graduated with honors from the National School of Architecture of Paris Belleville (ENSAPB) and studied at the University of Roma Tre in Rome, Italy. She is a traveler who has landed in the city of Philadelphia, where she is raising her daughter and a small flock of chickens. She is also an avid gardener and fine art photographer.

  • Massimiliano Scarchilli
    Massimiliano ScarchilliSenior Project Manager

Massimiliano Scarchilli is a gifted designer with a passion for detailing and assembling materials and a refined sense of craftsmanship. He has used his skills as a designer and his eye for intricate details to successfully complete complex projects requiring elaborate detailing and production quality control with remote, international teams.

As a Project Manager, Massimiliano has developed his design aesthetic using experience from a variety of projects, including commercial retail, historic renovations, residential buildings, and interior work. Recently, he completed work on the Lagos Jewelry corporate flagship store, located on Philadelphia’s prestigious Rittenhouse Square, as well as the new Lagos in-store shop at Bloomingdales in King of Prussia, Pa.

Massimiliano is known for his impressive proficiency in in 3-D modeling systems. He also manages the information technology system for the entire firm.

Massimiliano was raised in Milan, Italy, and attended high school in Brussels, Belgium. He completed his studies in the United States, receiving his Bachelor of Science in Architecture from Temple University. He has been with the firm since beginning his student internship in 2000. Massimiliano is fluent in English, French, and Italian.

  • Mark Hansen

A Registered Architect in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Pennsylvania, Mark is also RRP EPA Lead certified, and OSHA 10 certified. He is able to handle complicated structural building elements and work out complex building systems issues during planning and construction.  

Mark brings 17 years of experience to each project, and is also an experienced carpenter, metal worker, welder, and mechanic.  His professional career focus is in urban design, master-planning, medium scale residential developments, custom homes, home additions, and adaptive reuse of historic buildings.

Mark enjoys taking a hands-on approach with a forward-thinking spirit to solve problems and turn around on-the-spot solutions. He delights in the rigors of finding solutions in large scale projects.

  • Devon Alioto
    Devon AliotoProject Manager

Since moving to Philadelphia from his home state of Michigan, Devon has focused on expanding his professional expertise in large scale and historical projects. His design work is centered on the understanding of the importance of developing a story for any design. For Devon, architecture is a delicate articulation of ideas that relate to art, humanity, and time. These ideas have the ability to tell a story that informs how people interact with architecture, which is essential both when designing new environments, and when developing adaptive re-uses of existing historic buildings.

When he’s not working on new designs and other phases of projects ranging from residential to commercial to hospitality, Devon enjoys exploring the city on runs and on his motorcycle.

  • Ola Alkudsi
    Ola AlkudsiProject Manager

Ola’s over 20-year career began in her native Syria, where she graduated from Damascus University with degrees in Architectural Design and Environmental Design. Her broad experience has continued here in Philadelphia independently and with other established firms to include projects such single and multi-family residential, commercial, educational, and hospitality.

She not only brings her expertise in architectural design methods, aesthetics, and structures and materials to all of her projects, but also to undergraduate and graduate students in her role as Instructor of various Rapid Visualization courses.

  • Matthew Grossman
    Matthew GrossmanArchitectural Designer

Matthew’s experience ranges across all phases of architectural projects, including zoning, schematic design, and design development. His focus is on complex zoning and code analysis and historic preservation projects, to which he applies his expertise in AutoCAD and 3D modeling software to develop visual representations that both advance the team’s architectural process and help clearly communicate concepts to clients and officials alike.

Matthew earned his Master of Architecture at the Southern California Institute of Architecture, and has additional expertise in building demolition and site evaluation for new construction.  

  • Sam Spetner
    Sam SpetnerArchitectural Designer

Sam is a visual artist, educator and designer. He was trained as an architect at California College of the Arts in San Francisco (BARCH 2008). His interests are broad and interwoven, including abstract visual communication, studies in complex geometry, community organizational strategies and color theory.

  • Adam Hunt
    Adam HuntArchitectural Designer

As a designer, Adam focuses on expressing complex architectural ideas as visual artifacts. Adam uses his skills in rendering and architectural modeling to evoke spatial atmospheres before construction begins. He specializes in using 3D modeling software as a design tool to develop architectural ideas with the team, and to bridge the relationship between architect and client.

Adam graduated with honors from the University of Minnesota where he earned his BS in Architecture. His experience in 3D modeling coupled with his work in model fabrication and social media management give him a unique perspective on the relationship between architecture and the community.

  • Gabrielle Roth
    Gabrielle RothAdministrative Manager

Gabrielle Roth is an interdisciplinary artist from Los Angeles, California moonlighting as an organizational superstar.

She received her MFA from the Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers University in 2015 and BFA in Sculpture from California State University at Long Beach in 2011. She has been an artist in residence and education fellow at the Wassaic Project in Wassaic, NY  and Anderson Ranch Arts Center in Snowmass Village, Co, and has exhibited her work in Los Angeles, Oakland and Long Beach, Ca; Iowa City, Ia; Florence, Italy;  New Brunswick, NJ; Dallas, TX; and Brooklyn and Wassaic, NY.

When she isn’t striving to be a ‘fast and accurate’ liaison to the team at SgRA she runs a feral cat gang, maintains a garden and studio practice in the Port Richmond neighborhood.
